It takes a strong woman to raise a child. But it takes an even stronger woman to make the hardest decision of all.
Baby Bokamoso, which means "the future," was born to Ms Mokua not long ago. She conceived this beautiful baby in a toxic relationship - one filled with violence and abuse. After his birth, she made the hardest decision of her life: she decided to give Baby Bokamoso up for adoption in order for him to have the best possible life.
Ms Mokua knows that her baby deserves a family filled with love, healing, and safety.
We applaud Ms Mokua for being strong and filled with the conviction to give her son a good life. She herself is now in counseling with our team while Baby Bokamosu has been placed under the safety of a temporary care parent through Setshabelo.
